Dear friends, Stellify is evolving.
For most of my writing life—across my blogs, novels, poems, even journal entries—I’ve been trying to return to a specific feeling.
It’s been coming back to me in glimmers of nostalgia: a kind of hope attached to magic, fairy wings, the idea that everything’s enchanted if we look closely enough, shades of pink and purple, the thought of beauty itself finding and surrounding us through memories.
And Stellify has become my attempt at capturing that feeling—something I’m calling re-enchantment.
Over the past few months, I’ve been slowly relaunching this publication and exploring the themes that keep weaving through my work…and in the process, I realized it’s time to dream big again.
Stellify is a digital magazine devoted to fantasy, nostalgia, femininity, and re-enchanting the ordinary.
Stellify is still a blog/newsletter hybrid, and Substack is the perfect home for it—but it’s also becoming a digital magazine. I want to give my ideas the space to grow past just a single article by one writer…I’d love to create issues exploring topics in more detail, inviting other writers to be part of it.
At its heart, Stellify is a world on the internet to visit—not for the sake of escapism—but to feel your own memories and emotional identities being reflected in it.
Stellify is for the girls who:
wish they had new stories to reawaken the strange, beautiful feelings of hope that magic gave them in childhood
have a deep love for the fantastical and everything magical
want to return to the whimsy and girliness they abandoned as adults for the sake of maturity and practicality
miss when the internet felt like a place they visited instead of one that they can’t escape
wish ordinary life felt enchanted again

About me:
In case we haven’t met yet, I’m Ryan Elizabeth. It’s a double name, but you can call me Ryan (I didn’t like my name very much when I was younger, but I’m learning how to cherish it!). I’m a 21-year-old novelist with a deep love for fantasy, 2000s internet girl culture, dream pop music, and journaling.
I completed a three-year conservatory program as part of its founding graduating class, where I earned certificates in both Creative Writing/Publishing and Business/Entrepreneurship. As I work toward publishing my novels, Stellify is my little corner of the internet to share inspirations and glimpses into the worlds I’m creating, while building a beautiful space with like-minded writers and readers.
